Tsugaike-Kogen Ski Resort

Tsugaike has vast gentle slopes in a gigantic scale that entertain beginners and family skiers. Deep further into the mountains unfolding there are various, challenging slopes that are something advanced skiers can’t miss. Access Information

Train

From Tokyo area: To Nagano Sta. via Hokuriku Shinkansen Line. Then take Hakuba-bound express bus to Tsugaike-Kogen bus stop (approx. 95 min. from Nagano Sta.).

From Nagoya area: To Matsumoto Sta. via Chuo Line. Then transfer to Oito Line to Hakuba-oike Sta. (approx. 105 min. from Matsumoto Sta.).

Car

From Tokyo area: To Nagano I.C. via Joshin'etsu Expressway. Then approx. 90 min. along prefectural road 31.

From Nagoya area: To Azumino I.C. via Nagano Expressway. Then approx. 90 min. along Route 148.

A 14-kilometer-long downhill course can be enjoyed beginning at Tenguhara (alt. 2,204m) to the foothills (alt. 800m). Enjoy either or both of the dynamic off-gelande courses or well-appointed powder-snow slopes.
